one day my blog will be awesome.

i have been out of it... the time where i was riding thirty miles a day went out with the change in jobs. my fault though.
tired and angry with work and then life as it is.
not really life so much but,
i think i need more change so i can post more riding posts. i do not regret doing what i did in leaving my job of ten+ years.
i just hope that i can take full advantage of me to change a bit more...

i know you all have been missing me

and i am sorry to leave you all hanging...
i was out of it because my grandma passed and that happened right after i started this blog. she didn't ride a bike but she still got around. love you grandma... anyone who has eaten any of my food has her to thank for the goodness that is my cooking... she taught me a lot. miss you...
So i have been riding still and i have done so everyday this year to work. one girl at work said that she hates when i say my commute was wonderful! HAHAHAHA!!! it has been very stress relieving and i think my gut might be shrinking a bit :) in the morning the people i pass are becoming more accustom to  hearing "passing on your right" and i have received some thank yous... this is cool. one of the paths i take has a bunch of new year resolutioners...
i figure this will die down come mid February. all in all i dont see myself driving to work anymore. at all... ever again... yeah right... jajajaja... when it rains i want to still ride but i dont have the proper gear for it. i will get it just not sure when. besides this is CA and when it rains it sprinkles. i am not made of salt so i have no fear of melting away in the rain. i am pushing myself this year in the name of all my love ones that have passed. i have signed up for my first century(100 mile ride) this year the Tour de Plam Springs and that happens on Feb 11. i will have pics and lots to talk about when that happens. i also have set a lofty goal of doing a double century(200 mile ride) in Oct. that one is in death valley. i also will be doing the Ride Around the Bear and i will be gunning to beat my last years time. 10 and a half hours it took me and i NEED to beat that time. that one is a century with 9000ft of climbing. HOWEVER... i want to do this century in feb and one more before that ride... this year is going to be a good year. i will make it a good year regardless of what happens. well i have to clean my place because it will be nice to come home to a clean joint after my ride tomorrow. lots o love... BITCHES!!!!

VIP bitches!!!

It is nice having my own parking space....
Riding this morning I noticed people are starting to get used to me.
Although some people still don't move when I yell passing on your left
(or right) they are still in their own world. I feel kinda bad for
bringing them back to reality only to have to get out of the way. They
have however started to say good morning back to me and some have told
me that without me saying anything. The people on the trails are the
same for the most part. So they are getting used to it. Mostly all old
people and still some move to the right when you say passing on the
right...
i wont be riding in the rest of this week due to my grandma passing. i will start back up next tuesday when i return to work. it's just like bobby SLACKcia to take a break right at the beginning... hahahhaa

first week of bike commuting. full week that is.

no more car. no reason for one unless i have a gig. my car has actually broke down and i do not want to borrow money to get it fixed and i really don't care at the moment. i rode all week to work and it is a great feeling to show up and not have had to deal with traffic and well lets face it... all the dumb asses behind the wheel. consider yourself lucky that this dumb ass isn't behind one too.
when i ride into work on my way i take trails and there is some road i have to brave. the people on the trail are surprised when i ride past them and say good morning. before i come up to them i announce myself by saying "passing on your left" or right whatever seems safer. some people are in there own world and they don't move until i come right up on them and yell "PASSING ON YOU RIGHT!" one couple in Irvine was traveling the same direction as me and i had yelled out three times before i got right on them and said it again. the wife grabbed the husband and pulled him to the side and he screamed at me "FUCK YOU" as he was letting me know how he felt i yelled back at him GOOD MORNING! i laughed and went on my merry way.... that was fun... i think his wife was making him walk. my ride is about 15 miles one way and it takes about an hour and ten minuets. http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=5229367 i am thinking that i will post photos and comments on my daily ride. this will make me have to make my ride more interesting for me and for you.
